Insulated Freedom Suit

Whether you're wyling out in powder like a psyched-up kid on a sugar binge or carving corduroy like you were born to do so, the Airblaster Women's Hot Freedom Suit ensures spicy style and unimpeded mobility; two things that are relatively important when it comes to having fun in the grand scheme of life. This style-swindling one-piece features a waterproof exterior for protection against precipitation, while the zonal synthetic insulation curbs the cold even when wet. Additionally, the myriad of pockets keep all your hill-side necessities secure and close at hand, and the zippered waist enables relatively effortless bathroom use so you don't have to worry about your sleeves taking a dip in the resort toilet as you attempt to wrangle yourself free from the confines of your clothing.

  • A seriously awesome one-piece for shredding up a storm
  • Waterproof exterior protects against precipitation
  • Synthetic insulation assures warmth even when wet
  • Myriad of pockets keep necessities close
  • Waist zipper enables relatively effortless bathroom use

Awkward fit

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

I’m 5’5’’ and 130. I have long legs, short torso. I suppose that’s why it didn’t work for me. It’s mid section is quite long and the legs are short. The butt pockets were about 4 inches below my butt, lol. However if you have a long torso this might work perfect- it’s a high quality product

So SWEEEEEEET!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

Better than expected, just as good as dreamed about. I knew the crotch would hang low, that would be required if want to have full bend over capability. Which is huge given the fact that if you snow board you need to easily buckle in and out. For myself I ski, and some runs I loosen my boots and some I tighten my boots, super important to be comfortable. I worried I would look just simply fat, but although it is not slim fitting, I don't think it makes me look too fat:)

I am 5'8" tall 160 pounds and muscular. I chose the XL due to another review, and I also wanted to er on the side of comfort rather than making me look skinny. XL although it is rude, it was the right choice.

Bonus features, tons of pockets, wrist cuffs with thumb holes, butt Zipper for potty breaks, warmer and better looking than expected. I also am in love with purple. This purple is darker than pictures which is bonus for me, but is a little on the red side, I prefer a blue-er purple. I have not been on the slopes with it yet, but am super super excited!!

So SWEEEEEEET!

The best "Juan-zee" ever

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: XS

Totally surpassed my expectations,I have never skied nor seen snow before. This "Juan-Zee" as we started to call it, kept me warm every day of my 10 day ski trip to Copper Mountain, Colorado. As many falls as I endured, never once snow made it in.

I am 5'1" weigh 115 lbs the small was too big and thanks to Matt Reider, at Backcountry we we're able to get XS in time for the trip.

I think you will get a kick out of this as much as I did, when I fell the ambassadors on the mountain swarmed around asking me if I know where my parents are, must have been the Airblaster siut, no one on the mountain has one like it!!

Helmet, gloves and undergarments also fit great, thanks Matt

Too big

The size guide isn’t accurate. I’m 5 ft 6.5 and 124 lbs. I should order a medium or large which I have never been. Usually a small or XS. I called and was informed I should order the L. I went with the M and it’s way too big both in length and width. I’m exchanging for a S. The quality seems amazing though...good looking snowsuit, well made!

    Great Suit...however...

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: medium

It's a great suit. Practical for snowboarding. However the sizing is a little weird. I got the small which fits. It's a little snug when layering. Hence, why I returned it and got the medium instead. the medium fits better with some room. But the legs are long. I would suggest this suit for a taller person. It's not for short chicks. Well made suit though. I'll try out the medium on the slopes and see what happens.

    Loved it.

Loved this. No pinching in the waist which made it easier to get up on my board, kept me warm and insanely comfortable. Im never going back to pants and a jacket again. Only complaint at all was that my butt was a bit damp by the end of the day where snow got through the 360 zipper. However, that 360 zipper was key so I didn't care. Lots of people complained about the crotch being low- I found it was perfect. In the L, which fit me, I wasn't able to full raise my arms. The XL was perfect and fit my height perfectly. This might not work if you are over 6ft though.

    How to Measure:
For best results take measurements over your underwear keeping the tape a bit loose.
    Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, where you like your pants to sit. Now subtract full inch to account for vanity sizing. This is your pant waist size. Remember that all Airblaster pants have adjustment tabs built in to make the waist smaller and customize your fit.
    Chest:
Measurement around the widest part of your chest.
    Inseam:
Measure from the crotch of your pants down to the point on your ankle where you like your snowboard pants to fall.
