I like wool but this is itchy

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

Super thin for the price and it's pretty itchy. I got the grey which is kind of an army green. I'm returning this and going back to smartwool!

This sweater was very itchy at least for me, I have very sensative skin it just didn't work for me.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

I love this shirt! It has a sleek athletic fit. When you put the hood up you almost feel like a ninja. I wear this mostly for backpacking or hiking. The merino wool makes it naturally anti-odor so it stays fresh for days in the backcountry. Like the other reviewer wrote, it stays put when you're active and even with a pack. I did notice a bit of pilling on the shoulders where my pack sits but that is after extensive use and easily fixed. The thumb holes in the sleeves are a great additional feature for hikers.

    Versatile Layering Piece

This piece has become a staple in my wardrobe, both for adventuring and casual wear. It worked perfectly layered under a vest for chilly runs and hikes this winter and now I am wearing it as a stand-alone this spring. The wool is lightweight and soft (not itchy; feels almost like cashmere). It is form-fitting and stretchy, but doesn't migrate when it gets sweaty. Overall, I am happy with the versatility of this top!
