The trails make the runner.
Trails, meet your maker, also known as the Adidas Women's Terrex Trailmaker Running Shoe. Designed to scramble up talus fields and over technical descents, the Trailmaker features a lightweight. breathable upper ideal for hot and muggy climates alike. A speedy drawcord serves as your on-the-go lacing system, which ultimately discourages hot spots and pressure points often caused by traditional lacing system. Additionally, the padded tongue and collar protect your foot from outcropped rocks and roots, while the boost midsole not only attenuates shock but ensures a responsive, springy feel underfoot for maximum power from midstance to toe-off. And, last but not least, the tenacious Continental rubber outsole boasts 4mm lugs that rip, grip, and shred up uneven terrain. So whether you're trucking through mile 11 of thirteen, or headed out for a short, chill jog through the local trail system, the Trailmaker offers support, impact absorption, and style.

- Q & A
Made my feet pronate
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: Runs large
These didnt work for me at all. As soon as I stood up in them, I knew they weren't going to work. However the heel cushion is made, made my ankle not be able to stand straight and made it naturally want to curve in (pronate). I'm usually a 7.5 in shoes and these were still too big, so if you do give these a try, I would recommend going down a half size. I think these would be perfect for someone with supinated ankles when they walk/run as the sole will correct it, but they didnt work for me.
A touch narrow and stiff in the toe
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: 9.5
These run a touch narrow for me (i'm a wide end of med width), and toe was feeling really stiff, which worried me in terms of long term comfort and potential wear zones in the crease over the toes.
On the upside, I like the use of the speed lace, and the Continental soles feel suuuuuper grippy.
