Terrex Swift R2 GTX Hiking Shoe

A swift hike through tough conditions calls for the Adidas Women's Terrex Swift R GTX Hiking Shoe. Gore-Tex Extended Comfort ensures waterproof protection in a highly breathable package for speedy hiking, and the mesh upper enhances ventilation in the summer's warm weather. Adidas reinforced the upper with synthetic and added a molded sockliner for long-lasting support and breathability. The AdiPrene insert uses EVA for cush and shock absorption, while the midfoot shank offers more support. Continental Traxion rubber gives a good grip on slippery surfaces.

Too big

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I wear an eight but they felt like a nine so I have to return them. Disappointed that they don’t come with a return label to make returns easier. Currently there is no 7.5 but I am not sure if trying seven is worth it.

Loved the Previous Version

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got these shoes about three years ago and wore them all over: hiking Mt. Whitney, halibut fishing in Alaska, etc. I could wear them all day! My newest pair feels much larger in the toe box. Even when I make them as tight as possible, I still get blisters in between my toes. It maybe be worth sizing down if you give these a try. That aside, the higher ankle is great for support. I love that they are waterproof as well so you can step in puddles and mud with confidence.
