Push your limits.

It's easier to push it when you're armored up, but wear too much gear and you won't be able to bend your knees and elbows, which might limit your shredding just a bit. 7 Protection's Control Knee Guards give you the confidence that comes with a hard knee pad, but their innovative design allows the freedom of movement you need to pedal, hike, and rip without restriction.

Over the kneecap, a one-millimeter Curv hard cap protects against direct impacts, while a surrounding double layer of perforated polygon foam helps save you from pedal strikes and abrasion. Pedal Flex zones at the back of the knee help the Control stay in place while you're pedaling, and 7 Protection's innovative Centre Strap adjustment uses two hook-and-loop straps that pull from the center to the sides of the knee, letting you fine-tune the Control's fit for non-slip comfort. Breathable mesh around the Pedal Flex zones helps you stay reasonably sweat free, and the Control's lightweight design means you'll be able to wear it all day, during lift laps or enduro races, without feeling like you're hauling around extra gear.

Tough as nails

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These pads rock! I'm mainly using them for rollerblading, and they are mega comfortable, very light and best of all, extremely tough! Perfect for accidental knee skids. I'm a larger guy and the XL fit me well.

Safe and comfortable for downhill

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Just used them for the first time, they will remain in position without make you uncomfortable. I did realize that they were quite tight around my leg when I took them off, but I practically didn't feel them while I had them on. They are quite articulated, the selection of materials is great. The pad itself is hard and resistant. Sweat will happen, but these look like they can be easily cleaned.

They did not restrain my pedaling range in any way either.

Great Pad

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Before this pad I was using the TLD T-bone. What I like about this pad over the T-bone is the hard shell. This means the pad will slide instead of grabbing the ground and getting ripped off your knee. They stay in place well and are pretty light.

Pricey, but great protection

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

After injuring my knees, I decided to search for a good set of knee pads, I did a bunch of research, fit, and questioned my buddies on what they were wearing, so I came across my bud who was wearing a set of these, so I decided to examine the composition of the pads, overall quality is great, seems like a good mix of materials were put into thought for the making if this pads
So after fitting them more than a few times at the shops, I pulled the trigger and bought them, first ride a great feel, don't move much, they are light for the amount of protection they offer, they sure are not cheap, it took a lot for me to justify buying these, but we'll worth it.
They dobrun on the bigger side, which is great for someone with thick legs like me
