The Marmot PreCip 3L Jacket has impressed gear reviewers for years, thanks to its modest price and not-so-modest performance. The NanoPro membrane is highly waterproof and highly breathable while underarm zippers let us release extra heat and moisture if we're hiking hard or holed up under a summer thunderstorm. It's a light and time-tested rain shell that's treated us well over the years.
