KEEN Roatan Shoe - Women's:

Whether you wear the Keen Roatan Shoes to town for coffee or to the beach for fun, they can handle it.

KEEN Roatan Shoe - Women's

Wear the seriously comfortable Keen Women's Roatan Shoes around town and then straight to the beach. Their stretch neoprene material hugs your foot in comfort and it can handle the water with ease. Even though the Roatan Shoes are extremely light, their elastic lateral support system protects your foot from soreness or fatigue. Keen gave these slip-ons a non-marking carbon rubber outsole that sticks to slippery surfaces like a champ.

    One step above barefoot, perfect.

Just bought a second pair in a different color because grey doesn't go with everything. I wear these a lot and they are great. They comfortable if you don't need fancy foot support, and cute.

These shoes are very comfortable and don't start to stink after they get wet! that's a big plus.

    These shoes are terrible

I have two pairs of these shoes. At first, them seem comfortable, but after just an hour my feet hurt. They have zero support. I thought the insoles were missing, but nope. They actually don't have one. Completely flat on the bottom. They are the worst casual shoe I've ever had.

Got Away With It At Work

Initially I bought these shoes to protect my feet from the zebra mussels at our cottage. One day when I was struggling to find a pair of shoes that would fit my orthotics and match the outfit I was wearing, I decided to wear them to work. Nobody commented that they were inappropriate so I've kept on wearing them. These shoes are really comfortable.

Can't wait to wear them outside!

These are super cute, and so far comfortable for me, but as it is winter I haven't been out of the house with them on. They don't have any padding support-wise, but I am one of those weird people who prefers no support (I run in Nike Free). As I said below I wear size 6 1/2 and am pretty true to that size, sometimes even 7 in Chaco's and Ulu, and these show in size 6 fit perfectly.

I have these in black and I used to wear them just about every day because they're so cute and go with everything. But beware, these shoes have absolutely no support; now that I have foot problems, I can no longer wear these shoes for more than about a 1/2 hour before my feet start killing.

I ordered these a size big, and they were way too big... but I gave them to my sister and she loves them. She said they hurt at first, and after they were broken in they felt fine. Not very ergonomic, but they're a water shoe, so what can you expect.

I thought these water shoes were really great. I wore them to the water park and they stayed on my feet the whole time and kept my feet from burning on the side walk. Suprisingly they had some support in the arch too!

I bought these to wear as a water shoe for our trip to an amusement park ... not only did they work out well but I found them to be very comfortable and felt comfortable to walk in all day. My feet held up well with them wet and dry. Not to mention that my 11 year old daughter thought they were cool and comfy too so she wore them when I wasn't. Great Shoe ... would consider another pair in different color. Size was true to fit.

More water shoe than casual shoe

    By: Christine Edie (0)

I've got a million pairs of Keens in different styles and these are probably my least favorite for wearing as around-town/at-work shoes. My husband got them for me for my birthday and I though he'd bought me straight Keen water shoes. Surprised to read here that they are promoted as casual shoes, too. No stay, support, padding whatsoever; a pretty floppy shoe actually. I wore to work a few times but felt like I wearing my bedroom slippers to work and quit wearing them. (My bedroom slippers have more form to them than these shoes.) Would recommend maybe the ballerina flats instead, but I don't have those. That being said, I could definitely see myself wearing them to a waterpark, even water aerobics, on a Hawaiian lava-rock beach, you get the idea. Too bad I live in the Midwest! Anyway, think would be a fine water shoe, not so much a kicking it to work shoe.

My shoe size is pretty standard 9, and the elastic seemed like a good idea. My toes crimp up in the toes of these shoes. The color (Apricot) is great, but I am going to have to return them. The cost of shipping is half of the cost of the shoe!

No support, don't stay on in water-after about a month the elastic stretches out so they fall off. Total waste of money even for $15

I have two pairs of these shoes and love them SO MUCH! They are perfect for wearing around town as a flat, and work very well around campsites or as a water shoe. Perfect for canoeing or kayaking! They grip really well even when wet. They also dry very quickly and I swear they're resistant to dirt. If you're a half size, I would suggest going down to the next full size for a good fit.

Status thus far: awesome. I took these shoes kayaking with me (just on a lake, nothing too intense) but the water was 40 degrees. These shoes kept my feet warm after exposed to water. I also took them on a little hike next to the lake, they held up just fine. These Keen shoes were good in water, kept my feet warm in glacier water, and were good out of water. Just like fish. Fantastic.

Backcountry's description is misleading, you should read Keen's own description. The description at KeenFootwear.com says: "Head for the shoreline with the Roatan water shoe from KEEN. Designed specifically for wet environments, the Roatan features a drainable and grippy outsole. The Neoprene upper stretches to a comfortable fit on your water-seeking adventures." 411: water shoes are sized to be worn without socks

As a water shoe, marvelous. For anything else, they're REALLY lacking in support on the sole. I take a 10 in almost every shoe, and these were just rubbing my big toe. Unfortunately, they weren't available in 10.5.

These were great for the first 3 hours. Following that - tired feet and somewhat over heated. Uncharacteristic for Keen. These are better staying on the beach or in the car... not recommended for wandering around in downtown.

I bought these shoes for a possible trip to Bonnaroo and for kayaking. They don't have arch supports and are totally FLAT. The bottoms are pretty rugged and seem like they could handle any terrain. I can't seem to find my size when it comes to Keen, so this will probably be my last pair of them. I've tried 7 and 6.5 and it's either too big or a touch too small. I think I must have a narrow foot and heel, which may be my problem. They do feel like they'll dry quickly and seem comfortable around the house. To top it off, they're pretty cute!

These shoes are amazing. Originally I bought them to navigate the rocky beaches in Cozumel. They're so cute I wear them everywhere in San Francisco. They have good traction for riding around on my scooter. I love them so much I bought each of my friends a different colored pair for Christmas.

I bought two pairs, they are great. I fish off of my kayak and run these shoes through black mud, sand, salt water, oyster bars...they have proved to beat them all. They stay snug on my feet, I have even been stuck in the mud and not lost my shoe. I just spray them off with the water hose when done and they look new.
