Its BD.dry laminate is completely waterproof and breathable enough for the ascent, and the stretchy fabric moves with us up the mountain. Black Diamond gusseted the shell's fit so we can climb without the harness pulling up and over our harness, and each underarm also features DWR-treated zippers that provide ventilation when you get warm.
