I buy a new pair before every travel journey and will contin
I am on my 10 th pair of these shoes. I walk an average of 6 miles a day while at home on a combination of surfaces. I have spent 7 months in SE Asia and 8 months in Europe during the last 3 years. I hiked many miles in the mountains of Laos, the Pyrenees and alps in France the alps in Slovenia and Austria as well in Bavaria. Plus so much more and countless miles of urban hiking. I know I can rely on these shoes to be water proof and rugged.

Great Grip and Comfort!
The VECTIV Fastpack FUTURELIGHT™ Hiking Shoes are a solid choice for hiking the Hollywood Sign trail. The shoes handle the rocky and uneven terrain really well, offering great support and traction throughout the hike. I appreciated how breathable they are, especially since the trail gets hot under the California sun. The fit was snug but not too tight, and they didn't require a break-in period. My only minor issue is that the arch support could be slightly better for long hikes. Overall, they're a fantastic option for anyone hitting iconic trails like this.

Overall a good shoe.
Overall a good shoe. I have a wide foot and it felt a little narrow at first. Starting to naturally widen with use. Does not breath as well as other shoes I have had.

Just A Little Snug for Me
It's a little snug in the toe box but I used the size I've been using for years when buying from North Face. Other than that the shoe is functional for my needs in walking and treadmill at age 79.

I would buy again
Comfy shoes. They don't breathe well as they are almost waterproof. They are wide also. Overall they are comfortable but would be better in a cooler climate.

Not durable
These shoes started coming apart for me after 3 months of not very rigorous use. I walk to work on pavement and dirt trail. I have yet to take them on hiking as they are theoretically made for.
