SL-70 Aero Carbon Handlebar

Zipp’s new SL-70 Aero Carbon Handlebar builds on the legacy of the VukaSprint to offer a road handlebar with unrivaled fit and aerodynamic performance.

Manufactured from unidirectional carbon fiber, the SL-70 features a distinctive wing-shape that uses Computational Fluid Dynamics, the same software used to design Zipp’s acclaimed Firecrest wheels. And, surprise, CFD got it right. According to Zipp, the SL-70’s new airfoil-shaped section saves you 6.4 watts at 30 mph over a traditional round-tube section.

The SL-70s ensure precise steering with a 70mm reach, and a 128mm drop gives you plenty of for adjustments. The drops curve outward at a 4-degree angle, allowing you to tuck in a more aerodynamic position with more stability. The brake hood mount area features a 10-degree ramp angle, so you won’t have to rotate the bars to find the right brake hood position.
