You don't need a sack full of different goggles. You need the Slate.

You already know how to adapt to changing snow conditions by charging hard from powder to park to carving up the groomers depending on what is good. With the Zeal Slate Photochromic Goggles, your goggles will easily adapt to changing light conditions as well. The Slate's Automatic polarized lens darkens when the sun comes out and lightens when the clouds roll in or when you hop into the trees for a while, and its anti-fog infusion is actually part of the lens, rather than an exterior treatment, so it won't wear off or fade with use. The Slate's unique shape allows for maximum peripheral clarity, and its redesigned nose bridge provides all-day comfort and fit.

SLATE Goggle by ZEAL Optics

SLATE proves that you don't need neon colors to stand out. Subtle earth tones define this style, creating a feel that does more with less. Sharp lines within the frame and lens define it. The unique shape allows for maximum peripheral clarity while a redesigned nose bridge enhances comfort and fit.

What's the difference from a regular slate and plus slate goggles thank you

Narrow fit

Uncomfortable for my face, it's a more narrow fit. And the lenses were not what I had hoped. Probably good for some but not for me- returned.

    One and Done

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Why mess with a bunch of lenses and trying to match light conditions when this one lens can do it for you? Fit is great (medium size faces). I've used these in bright sunny days, snow storms, and cloudy days and the polarized photochromic lens handles it all. Great goggles!

    So far so good.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

My first experience using these was a powder day at Snowbird. The lighting was flat, and it snowed from the minute we got there. These goggles kept me alive. They did not fog up throughout the varying conditions all day. They are not the most comfortable goggle I've ever warn, but it just may be my face shape. I, however, had no problem wearing them the whole day. Since the lighting conditions were pretty much the same all day I've yet to test the photochromic abilities. Expecting great things.

    only lens!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

i was very skeptical when i bought these because i really like the bright colored -- flashy lenses. I took these out for the first day in a raging snowstorm in jackson and i was blown away -- the lenses adjusted to the stormy conditions, and i was able to see the contours int he snow even through the falling flakes! i doubt i wil ever buy another lens again -- they;re truly amazin!

    Nice goggles, photochromic rocks

Just got the goggles, they fit well (medium face). Polarized function seems to work well as does the photocrhomic. Love the photochromic; changes within about 30 - 40 seconds going from shade to bright sun. Haven't had a chance to try them on the slopes yet. Got Rx goggle insert from Goggles n More, they fit perfect. Will never wear glasses under my goggles again. Build quality seems good. Will try to update the review once I use them on the slopes.
