Carve up groomers until your heart's content with the Yes. Optimistic Snowboard. Then, once you've sliced up that corduroy to shreds, take this directional, stiff-flexing weapon to the rest of the mountain to slash crud and blast airs on natty side hits. Equipped with a directional UnderBite outline, the Optimistic's edges redistribute weight in such a way that it enhances turning ease and edge hold over hardpack to allow you to rail out massive carves and navigate through trees at speed with confidence.
Additionally, the CamRock profile places camber along the majority of the board's running length for locked-in turns and plentiful snap off bumps and natural hits, while just after the binding inserts, the board transitions to rocker at the tips. This rocker eliminates the aggressive bite of camber, making it ideal for everyone from first-time beginners all the way up to pros who just want a catch-free ride anywhere on the mountain.
Under the hood of this all-mountain delight, the Powerdrive 2.0 core is comprised of lighter weight poplar and paulownia for strength without the bulk, and also features milled channels that are filled with bamboo stringers which are then wrapped in carbon for insane response and snap. This core design results in a highly responsive ride that matches and complements the board's shape precisely for all-mountain domination. A triaxial fiberglass layup boosts the stiffness of this board for more response and control when blasting through cruddy and thin cover conditions, while the sintered base promises to keep you cooking at high speeds even through slow, flat spots. Plus, its wider width allows you to ride the board up to six centimeters shorter for better maneuverability, and also begs you to see how far you can lean over on deep euro carves.
