    The Yakima BedHead is an affordable, no drill solution to carry a bike by the forks in the bed of any pickup truck. It carries one bike, quickly installs onto interior lip along truck bed rails with a beefy, long throw, 9mm skewer. Padding protects truck's finish. Get the locking version for extra security.

    Gonna make em work

      I bought these for my 2015 Toyota Tacoma, I like have my bikes in the bed of the truck, feels safer than on the roof on a hitch mount.

      These do not work on my truck. I don't have a lip on my truck to attach the mount. I'm rigging it to make it work and fingers crossed it stays safe. I locked it down and fell safe as I pulled on it pretty hard (famous last words) but I would not reccomend this this for trucks that don't have bed with a lip. My truck came with the pre installed tracks and I have seen mounts for those. But I was already buying other stuff and these were on the site, I figured I would give it a go. They are nice, easy on and off. Solid construction. We will see how they fair.

        Solid option for carrying your road bikes in the bed of your truck. I have used them for lighter xc bikes as well and they seem to be pretty solid with those as well.

        Skip the locking ones

          I've got two of these installed on my truck & use them a few times a month for road & mountain bikes. They are easy to install & work great. My advice is to skip the locking units that sell for a little more & get the standard ones. When you do put the bikes on, just toss a cable through the frames & wheels then lock them to the tie down point in the bed. The bikes are more secure from theft that way anyway.

            So I was too cheap and didn't want the clumsy hitch mount for my truck. Originally was worried about how stable they would be. You have nothing to worry about for our normal everyday city/highway/interstate runs. They install and remove in less than 60 seconds and I bet you can get 4 bikes in a std 6ft bed. My All-Mountain Bike fits in between the wheel wells on 1/2 ton GM truck. These turned out better than I had imagined. No worries purchasing this Yakima product.

              These are compact and easy to set up.

                I needed a mount that was easy to set up and compact for storage on the off season. The bikes rode up next to the cab so they were protected from the wind. I was also able to preserve 80% of my bedspace for other equipment. I highly recommend these clamps.
