Give yourself a storm surge.

Paddle out into brisk waves knowing that you'll be comfortable and mobile in the XCEL Hawaii Men's Axis X 4/3 Front-Zip Wetsuit. Its Limestone Veoprene construction and Thermo Lite chest panel keep you warm while you surf through spring storms, and the engineered design offers a precise fit that feels like a second skin.

Limestone Veoprene is not only lighter and softer than traditional neoprene, but is also eco-friendlier and more sustainable than petroleum-based alternatives. Thermo Lite lining at the chest traps extra heat where you need it most while providing a plush feel. The S-Seal entry system makes getting your suit on and off a breeze, and it allows better mobility so nothing holds you back when you're getting after it.

Horrible

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

This wetsuit is cheap for a reason. It doesn't appear to be a 4/3 compared to my old Hyperflex. The legs also hold water. I come out of the water with about 2 liters of water in each leg. Its total crap, should have spent the extra money for a better wetsuit.

Great wet suit for Northern California

I got the Excel Axis 4/3 wet suit for a trip to San Francisco last week (Mid August). The Large/Tall fit great and kept me warm and comfortable during our 3-4 hour session at Bolinas. Looking forward to my next time in the water with it!
