Design flaw makes wetsuit damage itself!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: 4

Got the brand new wetsuit today. Tried it on briefly (fit great, very soft and comfy, surprisingly warm, loved it!) and then took it off and set it aside without zipping it back up. Big mistake! The velcro from the neck got stuck to the inside of the shoulder and though I tried to pull it off as gently as possible, it still tore the neoprene. Big patches of it are now fuzzy where it should be smooth, and if you look closely you can see many little tears in the material. It is VERY easy for the velcro to get stuck here during normal handling of the wetsuit while it's unzipped (in fact it happened once more while I was shifting it around to take pictures). I'm disappointed with this design flaw and have little faith in the wetsuit's durability, which is unfortunate because I loved it when I tried it on.
