Maybe I got a faulty pair?

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I thought Woolrich was a very good brand and had owned fleece shirts from them many years ago. Bought these socks and used them mainly around the house while wearing fleece lined crocs and for one or two very mild hikes. Had them probably 3 weeks when I started to notice unraveling and wear right above the heel. Then one of the socks developed a hole above the ankle. I'm hoping it was just a bad batch of socks. I contacted Backcountry for an exchange and they were really prompt. I'll tell you one thing though, they are definitely not on the same level as Smartwool.
