How do you clean it?

Hi Ellen, According to White + Warren there are a couple different ways to go about washing this sweater.

HAND WASHING: 1)Turn the garment inside out to wash the fabric where stains and odors build up on the inside closest to your body. 2)Prepare your clean basin or sink with cold water and The Laundress Wool & Cashmere Shampoo. Mix shampoo and water until combined. 3)Submerge garment and gently wash using your hands. Thoroughly rinse the garment in clean water. Be sure that all the soap has been rinsed out and press out excess water. DO NOT TWIST OR WRING OUT. 4)To dry, place the garment on top of a towel making sure the towel and garment are flat and in its original shape. Then roll up the towel with the garment inside to remove excess water. Getting out the excess water is important because cashmere should not be wet for long periods of time. 5)To finish drying place the garment on a dry towel or drying rack. DRY CLEANING: Dry cleaning has long been a highly recommended way to clean without damaging garments, but what is safe for your clothes isn’t necessarily safe for the environment. If you must dry clean a garment, we recommend choosing a green dry cleaner. The best way to ensure that your cashmere sweaters are cleaned safely and responsibly is to wash them by hand.
