V is for very, awesome.
Designed specifically for those white-out, beautiful powder days, the Volcom Women's V Insulated Gore Stretch Jacket offers unimpeded protection and mobility. Starting with its stretchy Gore-Tex exterior, the V touts weatherproof protection and breathable performance, while the PrimaLoft insulation at the core assures low-profile warmth—so you don't have to sacrifice mobility for the sake of furnace-like fervor.
Additionally, the fully taped seams further safeguard you from sneaky moisture, and the internal hand gaiters batten down the hatches and prevent cold drafts from sneaking in. Not to mention, the V boasts a jacket-to-pant interface for a sealed-in feel, and the hood, hem, and cuffs are fully adjustable to your liking. However, if all this talk of powder protection has you worried about sunny spring days, don't worry—the V is constructed with zippered underarm ventilation to provide on-the-go temperature regulation. Not to mention, this jacket has a whistle zipper pull in the event that you find yourself in a sticky situation. Or maybe you just like to whistle along to the song of absolute silence.

Stretchy Goretex for the win
I wanted to pick up a new resort jacket this season and after browsing the entire assortment and trying out a few different options, this was the winner. Admittedly, I was a bit hesitant about the price, but I am so happy I decided to keep this jacket. Itâs insulated on back and chest panels, very waterproof, stretchy, and keeps your bum warm on the lift with the steezy below the waist cut. I am usually a medium in jackets and after much debate decided to size up to a large on this one. I wanted more room for layering on cold days and since its a fitted cut Iâm happy to have a little more room. Iâm 5â3â and ~ 135 lbs. got lots of compliments this season rocking this jacket.
SUPER CUTE and WELL MADE
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: L
I ended up returning this jacket because it runs small and I will have to order a larger size. It runs a little tight around the hips if you are curvy but arms, length and waist are true to size so I hope that sizing up will not be too big around my chest. The built in mask is pretty cool and very comfortable. Love the pink color - looks nicer in person. Mild insulation so mid layer will be necessary for colder days.

I knew I needed a new jacket that would last longer and would protect me while riding but still be breathable and would feel light.
Here it is. It took me a while to decide between all Volcom Gore-Tex jackets and I'm glad I decided to get this one. All the features from thumbholes to little facemask that you can always unzip if you forgot to put yours on and protects you very well (I didn't expect that one working that good!). The jacket-to-pants interface is so awesome when riding powder, keeps the snow away from not that waterproof layers underneath the jacket. Looks super stylish, fits awesome, I get compliments about it all the time. It may seem that it runs a little small, I'm 5'9 140lbs and got M, the only thing tht seems to be "too small" are the thumbholes, but I'm used to the fact that my arms are too long.
I would recommend this jacket to everybody who wants to stay warm, enjoys the powder and cares about staying dry (like who doesn't, duh) and who wants breathable high-quality jacket that will last forever. Go for this one.
Love my volcom jacket. I recommend this jacket
