L Gore-Tex Pant

Gore-Tex gives this two-layer shell reliable waterproof, breathable protection, and fully taped seams prevent snow from seeping through. Volcom's V-Science breathable lining system enhances breathability to keep you comfortable when you work up a sweat, while mesh linings inside each vent ensures snow doesn't sneak in when you're getting some air. Gaiters stretch over your boots for a secure fit, and Volcom's Zip Tech lets them connect to compatible ski jackets for complete coverage.

I wanted to like these

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I really wanted to like these, as they have all the features I need at a great price. However, they were so tight at the butt/pockets area that I had to return them. I'm 5'8" 175lbs, athletic build, the mediums did not fit, couldn't even put a phone in my pocket. Larges would have been way too long on me. Just wanted to leave this review so someone else doesn't have to order and return like I did.

6' 1" 200lb. I'm between a 34 and 36 waist rightnow. Ordered a size Large, perfect size -- definitely room for a layer or two. Overall the quality is fantastic from the lined pockets to the gore-tex material. Definitely recommend the Volcom L Gore-tex pants

I ordered the wrong size

Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

I normally wear a size 32l 34w in jeans and I was worried about the waist being too small so I got the large. Unfortunately I should have gotten the medium as the large was too big all around. The legs were way too baggy and although the waist could be tightened to fit I had plenty of adjusting to play with. I purchased the black print by mistake instead of getting the all black pants. The black print is more of a brown and reminiscent of a cow hide:o I?m returning these and getting medium in black. ***update So I received the medium in black and they fit much better, although I barely fit in the waist area. I would say that if you are of a medium build get the medium (unless you are taller than 6'2"). I normally wear a shell and sweats and have never been cold with that setup while skiing in Tahoe. These are thicker than a shell only type pant and I think I'll be ok with either no sweats or a base layer except maybe on the coldest of days. If this site allows it I'll update the review after they get some use.
