Does this count as business casual?

The Volcom Men's Frickin Comfort Chino Pant is what happens when a sleek, sophisticated khaki takes comfy sweatpants out on a romantic dinner.... and the rest, as they say, is history. The question you should be asking yourself isn't how that works, but rather how you can wear this comfy chino to work without your boss realizing how comfortable you actually are. For that, Volcom has two words for you: untucked button-up.

  • The comfiness of a sweat pant meets chino sophistication
  • Cotton blended with stretchy Repreve recycled fabric
  • Modern fit with a tapered leg for a sleek look
  • Elastic waistband with drawstring closure

He Loves Them

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

I bought these for my boyfriend and they're great! They look like nice, work worthy pants but he can wear them to climb or just relax in. We both really like the mushroom color looks too.

Great Everyday Chinos!

I have evolved to only wearing chinos now and I have been rocking the Volcom Frickin Chino for years now. As soon as I discovered this "Comfort" version I had to jump on the train! These are my go to everyday wear pants because the stretch makes them so comfortable and versatile but still looking classy. The stretch waist band and the drawcord makes these super comfy and easy to drop the belt. One thing I have discovered is that the black colorway in these and the normal Frickin Chinos runs smaller than the other colors. Not sure why and it is kinda weird but just one thing I have noticed. I have gone with the same size in the different colors and have been fine but the black just fits smaller and tighter than the other colors.

comfortable is an understatement

I'm digging how comfortable these pants are, but I will say even with the draw cord as tight as I have it, it still seems that the pants don't stay up. Other then that I still like them.

    Great Chinos

I've been having a bit of trouble tracking down some nice chinos over the past couple months, and I think I've found exactly what I was looking for! These are super comfy and have the perfect amount of stretch to them.

    I love it

I originally bought these in gray and loved them so much I bought them in Olive and black. Grey and Olive were great. The black however, is not great. It gets all this fuzzy lint stuff all over it and I didnt like it.

These are very comfortable and seem very well made. The fabric has some good stretch to it. The fit is not baggy but not overly slim. I wear these on the weekends when I'm relaxing as well as at work or when I am out and about. Over all these are a very nice pair of pants.

      Nice pants

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large

Very comfortable, they are soft and stretchy. A little baggier at the bottom than I'd like, but overall well made, comfy pants.

      comfy

Pants fit great and run true to size! Was looking for something in-between my jeans and a traditional jogger. These were exactly what I was looking for. Fabric feels good, not to stiff. Can’t even tell that they have a elastic waist once you put them on! Good for going out in them and just hanging around the house.

These pants fit super well and are amazingly comfortable. They seem very durable and have all the things a regular pair of pants should have, but with an elastic waist and draw string. The right side has a nice key ring loop that I was not aware of before purchasing. The right side front pocket has a little separator that fits a cell phone nicely so that it doesn't move around (the front pockets are rather large). If your shirt covers the drawstring I am not sure anyone would be able to tell that they're not a nice pair of regular chino pants. Frickin comfy pants!
