    Mastik'One Professional Tubular Glue

The Vittoria Mastik’One Professional Tubular Glue is what the pros use to secure their racing tubulars to the rim. One tube contains 30 grams and is usually enough to glue one or two tires. However, Vittoria offers a 250-gram tin, which should be enough glue for 12 tubular tires.

    • Glues your racing tubular to the rim
    • One tube is 30 grams (generally enough for one or two tires)
    • The 250-gram tin is enough for 12 tubular tires

    As good as it gets

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is all I use for gluing tubulars. Perfect consistency. Dont use anything else.

    Best tubie glue out there

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great consistency, as long as you run thin coats this stuff works amazingly well. Having glued at least a couple hundred tubular tires, I always reach for this stuff first.

    The Best

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this for all the tubulars I glue. Folks say Conti cement works better with Conti tubulars but I never ride those...

    It's glue.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

It's glue. It's sticky. It holds your tires to the rim. It can be messy if you try to rush the job, but if you do it right, the ride-quality of tubies can't be beat.

I've been riding tubies almost exclusively for 25 years (i.e., not just racing, but training/recreationally as well). Vittoria Corsa CXs have been the tires of choice, Mastik'One has been the glue of choice for pretty much that entire time.

    Great glue

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used all kinds of glue and tape through the years and this stuff just works well, without any hassle.

    Worst glue ever

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Got massive blisters on my thumbs trying to get a flat tire off :/

On the plus I guess I'll never roll one off while riding :)

The gluing process is obviously far more important than the glue, but independent research has proven that this stuff is the best overall.

Cheap too. A tub should get 2-3 thin coats on way more than 12 tires. Much less if you have to build up layers on new rims of course. My last tub got me 4 new rims and 8 tires.

    Best glue ever

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

There really isn't a need to review this product. It's simply the only option for tubular glue. Tapes, and others don't even come close. I've used it for years and year and it always works.

    Great glue!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have always taped my tubulars but needed to use glue this last time around. I was surprised at how easy it was. I have had zero issues and my tires stay put. Excellent stuff.

Why did you need to use glue instead of tape?

JIM S. It was basically a time thing. I needed my tires mounted and I think we were backordered on tape. Glue just takes a bit more time than tape. Light some incense, open a beer, put on some 80's heavy metal and make a night of it.

    Best Tubular Glue Out There

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've spent a lot of time over the years gluing countless tires for road and cross for myself as well as shops that I've worked in, and can say without a doubt that I trust Vittoria Mastik One more than any other adhesive out there. It's the benchmark for bond strength and reliability...there's a reason it's the most trusted brand by pro riders and mechanics alike.

    Awesome Glue

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

High quality adhesive, takes 24 hours to be ready to go and not all that bad to remove.

One tube per tire for me works great.

    The Best.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is by far the very best tubular glue out there, I have used it for years and have had nothing but great luck with it. You can use this glue with carbon or aluminum rims, and like Thomas; I recommend using a brush to help distribute the the glue onto the rim and tire. For each wheel I will use about 1.5-2 tubes of glue (30gram).

    Works great - secure

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The glue works great. Tires are not going anywhere, but should still be removable with some effort come replacement time. I use 1 dry coat on the tire and rim, then a wet coat on the rim. Easy and only takes 2 days from start to finish.

Unlike some cements, this can doesn't come with a brush under the lid, so I find myself using (and discarding) an acid brush for each 24hour application. I just get them at a local hardware store for 59c each, but it's annoying and an extra expense/hassle to consider.

    Best for cross

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Use what the Pro's use. The Vittoria Mastic is the only glue to use for cross. It's fairly easy to use and is very hard to roll a tire if glued correctly. Two applications on the rim then two on the tire.

It's glue. Not much else to say

The tube, 30g selection is 12 tubes of 30g.
Mastik works wonderfully. Listen to your old tubular riding buddies and follow their steps closely.
