The Talus Pro is built around Vasque's supportive Perpetuum last and made with a full-grain leather upper, which is backed with a Gore-Tex membrane for waterproof and breathable protection when the trail turns wet and muddy. Don't think the Talus is your grandpa's stiff old work boot, though, because Vasque hooked it up with the cushy midsole of a lightweight hiker to keep you feeling fast and comfortable on the trail. The Talus still has a stout Vibram Nuasi XSTrek, sole, though, so you won't have to worry about it losing its tread after a single hiking season.
