Loved it but it didn't last

This dress is flattering, true to size, and versatile. I wore it one time and loved it. Then I made the apparently huge mistake of washing it exactly once. I followed directions and this is the result. I'm very upset as I loved the dress, it wasn't exactly cheap, and I felt like it should hold up to a single wash.

Perfect Dress

This dress is flattering. I purchased the black dress in small and it fits just right on my 5'2" athletic, curvy frame. The silhouette is perfect for work or play and I can't wait to wear it out.

Not quite a keeper
I ordered the Husk Retro Print in Size M, and thought the dress fit true to size. While I loved the material and the fact that it was functional on a taller woman, I didn't love it. Something about the exact location of where the waist hit at, it simply added volume on me. Along with the color not being quite bright and yellow as it appears in the photos, but duller and far more beige, I thought it looked quite matronly. For reference, I am 5'11' and 160lbs, athletic build.

Breezy and Comfortable

Love this dress! It is a wrap style, so you ostensibly could put on a show like the other reviewer mentioned, but I just wear some bike shorts underneath and it's great. The fabric is a technical fabric that looked as amazing coming out of the bag as it did on, so this baby's gonna be getting a lot of use this summer.
