Time uses a process known as Carbon Matrix Technology that's borrowed from the aerospace industry for the construction of the Monolink. CMT allows it the possibility to create its complex shapes with impressive strength while keeping the weight low. This process lets Time create very high-level carbon fiber components that continually exceed safety standards and offer top performance. We appreciate the security of its 4-bolt faceplate and marvel at its all-carbon construction. Even the thread inserts are carbon fiber and are bonded in place by a technique known as Resin Transfer Molding.

RTM involves the injection of the resin under pressure that ensures consistent impregnation of the carbon fiber reducing the risk of delamination and structural weakness. It provides Time with the ability to consistently and precisely achieve exact dimensions, weights, and desired ride characteristics.
