Envy Photochromic Sunglasses

Photochromic lenses, for those unfamiliar with the term, change their tint to match the ambient level of brightness in your surroundings. This technology is unmatched for rainy-then sunny-then overcast days when the last thing you want to do is change your lenses every hour, and aren’t willing to risk injury due to not being able to see road features. They’re also awfully nice on forest singletrack, when the tree canopy can vary dramatically in the space of a few feet. The lenses won’t change in an instant, but they’re certainly fast enough to adapt to changing canopy levels. Tifosi houses the Envy Fototec’s photochromic lenses in a super durable Grilamid TR90 frame.

Grilamid TR90, a branded nylon, is flexible and light on the face. Both the nosepieces and earpieces have a hydrophilic treatment applied to prevent the sunglasses from slipping down your nose while you’re riding. The outer part of each lens has a vent cut in to help reduce fogging while you’re stopped.

The Tifosi Envy Phototec Eyewear will best fit a medium-sized face, and comes with the GT Phototec lenses. These lenses are interchangeable with lens sets available from Tifosi.
