Not as thick as it looks

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

We got this at the beginning of winter and it is thinner than the picture shows so it didn't work too well in a Utah winter. Good for Fall and Spring though

Perfect for rainy days

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

I bought this jacket for my wife here are her comments: This jacket is high quality, lightweight and incredibly comfortable. I bought this jacket to keep me dry Costa Rica only have two seasons rainy and summer. Fits great. The color is gorgeous bright and cheerful. I was very pleased with some of the jackets features like, the adjustable hood, Velcro close cuffs and the little bit of added length in the rear.

Definitely a keeper!

I bougth for my wife here is her review: This was a great buy. It keeps me dry and I like to wear it for my morning run, protects me from the wind. It’s pretty light weight! Also I have it my car for those rainy days. It fits perfect.

Good but now a keeper

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: small

I bought this jacket and the Burton Berkley Jacket knowing that i would return one of them. Both are great jackets. Neither are exactly what i wanted (i was looking for something just a little heavier). In the end, I went with the Burton jacket because it was a little more comfy. This jacket is more waterproof which also means a little more stiff. In the end, it was a tough call. The fit was great. The color was great. If you are looking for a rain jacket, I think this would be a great choice. The sizing was great. I bought a small and still had plenty of room for a sweatshirt.

Love it

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

I like the fit. It is not super fitted but it is still feminine. The hood is very nice. I love the double closure on the zipper.

Nice Jacket - Big for petite frames

  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Small

Very nice jacket overall! I ended up returning it because a small was too large - the arms were too long and the mid section was "baggy". Although I returned it, I immediately purchased and xsmall, which is more form fitting. The small would have allowed for comfortable layering, but the xsmall is more form fitting, so layering is more difficult.

Looks great

Everything you need to stay dry

This is a great rain jacket both in fit and function. The seams and zippers are covered, and the hood is large enough to cover your eyes. I love the cinches in the hood and waist, and the velcro on the wrists is a nice touch in case it's really coming down. It is very light weight and packable, meaning that there is no insulation to this at all. Definitely plan on this being an outer layer on top of a down or whatever jacket you would typically wear for the given temperature. This would be a great jacket to wear to the office as well as out backpacking or hiking. I got this in heather grey and I love the versatility of this color. It looks semi-professional, so I don't need to worry about having multiple jackets that all serve the same purpose. As far as fit goes, I did not size up the way that a lot of the reviews were suggesting to do. I got the small, which is the size I normally wear, and it fits perfectly. I feel like TNF accounted for layers since this jackets is not insulated, and adjusted the sizing accordingly. The small is well fitted but allows for layers underneath. I'm actually wearing it today over my down coat! I'm very happy with this purchase, especially the price point, and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay dry.

I was in the market for a good rain jacket and bought this one and I love it!
It is super light weight so you won't feel hot when you wear it (great for any season/climate). Super easy to take with you because you can fold it up and it won't get wrinkled. Also, keeps you dry. Just can't say enough about this jacket.

The title of this review should be enough to sway your decision. You will definitely get the best bang for your buck with this jacket! I've used this jacket as a coxswain rowing crew, at the climbing crag in the dewy Spring time in Utah, and like the title suggests, I've used this jacket in the Pacific North West. This jacket is great for activities when faced with precipitation. It's also great for casual wear when it's misty or rainy out.

You'll definitely want to use this jacket as a layer since the material is so thin. I typically wear a puffy or fleece underneath on a cold day.

The fabric is pretty durable and the ultimate fit runs large. I say it runs large because it's a boxy fit, rather than curvy and feminine... because it's a boxy fit- it makes a great layering piece.

    i'm 5'4" and 115lbs ...... 1.6m and 52 kg. for reference.

I have a size M and I love it because I can wear multiple layers with it.

underarm vents and adjustable hood are definitely a plus for ventilation! The jacket is fully taped meaning it's sealed really well. The jacket retains heat well too. If the weather decides to change on you while you wear the jacket, you can easily roll it up and pack it away in a small easy to reach place.

I recommend for any chick who needs a versatile light rain jacket.

    Have fun!
