The North Face Shellista Lace II Boot - Girls'

Too good to not wear.

The North Face's Shellista Lace II Girls' Boot looks great and feels even better, so it might be harder to convince her not to wear it than to talk her into putting it on. The suede and synthetic upper is lined with super-soft pile and packed full of Heatseeker synthetic insulation, so her toes will be toasty on the sledding hill and playground, and the fully waterproof construction and TPR lower will keep her feet dry even in springtime slush. Grippy rubber on the sole won't send her skidding across the sidewalk, and the full lace-up design provides a snug fit, seals out snow, and adds some stylish detail that she'll want to wear proudly.

Run very, very small!!!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small

My daughter wears a 1.5 in girl's shoes, so I ordered a size 2 to save room for thick winter socks...
we could barely squeeze her foot into them and certainly not with thick socks! We had her friend who is a size 1 try them and they fit her a better but were still tight. However, after one school day of wear the little girl developed blisters up and down her feet so bad that she had to stay home from school the next day. I would not risk ordering these online but would instead find a place in which you can actually try them on!
