Resolve Insulated Jacket

The North Face outfitted the Resolve Insulated Jacket for all day weather protection when the weather turns from bad to worse. DryVent two-layer waterproofing sheds water off the jacket so you're protected as the snow turns to rain and then back to snow. Heatseeker insulation holds warmth in the jacket, and a hem cinch cord keeps warmth from escaping out the bottom. When the weather starts to clear up, you can store the hood in the collar and enjoy the sunshine.

  • A waterproof jacket for warm protection in cold, wet conditions
  • DryVent 2 Layer waterproofing sheds snow and rain
  • Heatseeker insulation keeps warm when wet
  • Adjustments at cuffs, hem, and stowable hood

For the money, a great jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

I really like this jacket. Warm, fits well, and is warm (albeit you should layer a bit more with this one). I tried some that were 2x this price and didn't like them near as much and everyone comments on how nice it looks.

Perfect jacket for right now...

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

And by right now, I mean early spring in the NE with rain and temps between 30-50. It's waterproof, not just resistant, and has enough room for an extra layer in case it's on the colder side. Returned a similar jacket from Patagonia that missed the mark and was nearly double the price. Definitely recommend the North Face at least for this type of jacket.

Great Coat

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Large

Got this coat for my brother. He loves it. Keeps him warm and dry.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Measure the hip circumference at the fullest part of the seat, keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Sleeve Length:
Measure the distance from the prominent bone at center back neck, across the shoulder, over the bent elbow to the center of the wrist bone.
