Great light weight pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pants are great, they fit well, are light weight, and the pant legs easily zip on and off. My only 2 downsides to note is I had to order one size larger than I normally do and I wish the pants would have been an inch longer. I'm 5-10 and struggle to find pants long enough. For the hiking pants I was looking for something that would cover my ankles even when I sit down to help protect from those pesky flies.

My Favorite Pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love everything about these pants. Lightweight and a tad stretchy, they're very comfortable for hiking. The built-in belt allows a custom fit, and they're easy to convert to shorts. I own two pairs.

Perfect backpacking and hiking pants!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wore these pants on our Lost Coast backpacking trip for four days last week. They were great, with full pockets and lightweight. It wasn't quite warm enough to unzip to shorts but I knew I had the option if I needed it.

Great purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These versatile pants are perfect to take me from cool mornings to hot afternoons and back to cool evenings. I bought 2 of them hoping that they were as good as I thought they'd be, and they are! I have also received compliments on them.

The Pants with Everything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these pants! I live in Virginia, just below the Blue Ridge Mountains, and my dogs and I hike in the woods nearly every day. These pants are very lightweight, yet durable, and I can tuck them into my socks to keep ticks from crawling up my legs. When I'm hiking on a trail in hot weather, I just unzip the bottoms and have an attractive pair of shorts. There is a built-in belt that easily tightens or lets out, and several pockets; one has a zipper for a phone. I liked my first pair (green) so well I bought a second pair in ivory.

Perfect fit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 5'10 and got the 6 in tall and it fits me perfectly. Hiked the Narrows in these because I wasn't sure how cold the water was going to be in the early morning. Then unzipped them in the river once I acclimated.

Returned immediately, would not recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try out convertible pants/shorts, but I was disappointed. The fabric is really soft, stretchy, and comfortable, and the pants would have been perfect, but the zippers sit in the middle of my thighs and THOSE don't stretch. Basically the result is that if you move/stretch your leg (pretend you're going to climb a boulder on a path or something), the pants stretch nicely but the zipper constricts the thighs, which kind of defeats the purpose of getting stretchy hiking pants. I suppose it's possible that someone with thinner thighs might be ok if the zipper is large enough to not constrict them, but that means that the pants are not well designed for all body types. I'm 5ft 1in and weigh ~130, bought a size 4S. I returned them immediately.

The perfect convertible pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been looking for a pair of convertible pants like these for a while. The zipper is subtle, the shorts length is perfect, the pockets are just how I wanted, and they're very comfortable. Wore them while hiking in the Grand Canyon and was very grateful for the versatility.

Good fit, but could use improvements
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the way these fit and look on me, but I wish the pockets were bigger and the material was higher quality. The waistband started to pucker after the first time I wore them and they snag easily. After wearing them just a couple of times, there were multiple places where the pants had snagged, but I hadn't even been doing anything I thought would have caused them to snag - all I had done was interview families living in the Panamanian jungle.
