Peyote Beige Birding Print/Jasper Green for the win!
I love the birds!! The fabric is very durable and great for everyday use or hiking/backpacking!

Two Weeks Backpacking Four Countries

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased this backpack specifically for a two week backpacking trip through Europe. Two weeks isn't much, but there were three plane rides and four bus rides involved and I wanted something sturdy, but also small enough that I could lug around super conveniently. I had seen this pack in a North Face store prior and the material felt super strong for the damage I was about to do to it. It's also water-resistant (proof?), which saved my clothing in the rain, also what I wanted it for.
I packed very specifically, but was able to fit the following:
Seven shirts, three leggings, a pair of jeans, base layer (shirt & pants), climbing shoes, flip-flops, three beanies, seven pairs of underwear and seven pairs of socks, three bras, pajamas (shorts & shirt), all toiletries, small bag of all electronics needed, and still had the two pockets on the sides to spare. I was able to strap my rain jacket and puffy to the bottom when it was too hot or dry to wear. (Yes, I'm talkin' 30L, folks!)
My biggest concern before heading out was the drawstring to cinch it closed. It feels flimsy and I was afraid that would break right away. To my happy surprise, it's still holding up strong.
If I could give this pack ten stars, I would. For what I used it for and what I will be using it for, it's solid.
Now that I'm back from Europe, this will be my go-to day pack for the crag when I don't have to bring my rope. Next stop, Red Rock!

Thanks for the great review Sam! That's incredible you could fit all of that into this 30L pack!

Excellent river walking backpack

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I use this backpack daily for hiking and lounging in the outdoors. Fits snug and holds everything for a fun day at the river or beach. Streamlined design is excellent!

Best All Around Work Bag!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this pack! I use it everyday as my to and from work pack. I have the Yosemite Sofa Print and get constant compliments! It has a great sleeve for my laptop and can expand to hold my yoga/gym clothes for after work or whatever else I need to bring with me for the day. I love the stuff sack functionality and the clips for light when on my bike. It's my fav pack!

Go To Pack for Quick Trips

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'll be honest I bought this pack because of the awesome sofa print...I can't tell you how many cabins I have been to with a couch that looked just like that. It made me laugh so I bought it. Good news is this pack is super functional as well and is my go to for day hikes and quick trips...whether it be a road trip or a quick weekend flight somewhere this pack holds everything I need.

Thanks for the review Dave! Super helpful to get this feedback out to the community.

How to Measure:
Torso:
-Have a friend locate the bony bump at the base of your neck, where the slope of your shoulder meets your neck. This is your 7th cervical vertebra (C7). Tilt your head forward to locate it more easily. This is the top of your torso length.
-Place your hands on top of your hips bones, with fingers point forward, thumbs in back. This it eh "shelf" on which your pack will rest. The middle of an imaginary line drawn between your thumbs is the bottom of your torso length.
-Using the tape measure, your friend should measure the distance between the C7 and the imaginary line between your thumbs. Be sure you stand up straight when being measured. You know should have your torso length.
Hipbelt:
Measure around your waist just above your hips.
