My son and I went on to southern Utah for his big 12 birthday. purchased these NF shoes, and could not have been happier. Adreyan used them to hike the arches, canyon lands, La Sals, setting up cap. So easy to put on with the new lacing system. Durable, solid traction, no complains from my son, means its a great shoe. Adreyan still wears them on hikes, amusement parks, and even playing back yard baseball, these NF shoes basically replaced his Toms, that he never takes off. Super pumped on him loving them.

This is our third pair. Tough, last a long time. Only complaint is how he stretched out the elastic quick laces. They work great and he has always outbrown them before they break down. Hikes, biking, school days.

These have turned into some really nice little hiking shoes for my two oldest boys. Sizewise they're right on with the sizing chart. The color matches the pictures surprisingly well. Smaller sizes have elastic laces as well as standard laces so you can swap them out. Larger sizes only come with standard laces. The soles last a very, very long time. You do want to be careful when they get close to heat though. The sides of the soles melt pretty easily. They are definitely waterproof.....we're just having to get my youngest use to the fact that waterproof only means that your feet stay dry when the water level is below the top of the shoe:)
