Nothing quite beats the comfort and coziness of a hoodie in cool weather, especially when it's made from Sherpa polyester fleece like The North Face Campshire Pullover Hoodie. With 300g fleece weight, you'll be sure to stay warm and comfortable while you're cruising downtown or hanging by the campfire. A relaxed fit offers plenty of room to move or to layer for extra chilly days. The kangaroo pocket warms your hands while a zippered flap pocket securely stashes your essentials, and elbow patches improve durability so you won't have to worry about losing your new favorite hoodie from wear and tear.

Arms too tight

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: small

The jacket itself is perfect - I love the thing. It is incredibly soft and I can picture myself wearing it all over the place. However, the arms run pretty snug. I am on the fence between a small and medium. I chose a small because my North Face hoodies are smalls, but with this, I would go a size up.

Sizing is big issue and cheap fabric

  • Size Bought: small

I bought 2 different color of same style hoodie, both are made in Jordan and in small size, it turns out that both of them have completely different sizing, one is really tight around chest and arms, the other one is super big more like L. The fabric feels really cheap, I'm returning both of them. From now on, I won't buy any products from the north face, their quality control is really bad.

Warm and Comfortable

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Large

I got this for my husban and he laughed to how fluffy it looked but he loves it. Standing outside in 30° to 40° wheather with winds gusting around him it always keeps him warm. The best part he likes most is the hoodie that comfortably hugs his ears and mouth from winds around him. The second best thing is sometimes he will need to layer and it works perfectly, he sweats from how warm he is, under 10° overnight wheather. They do run small in both length and size. I did size up when I purchased with the purpose of layering. Best gift I gave my husband.

So Good

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: XL

This thing seems just silly at first, so big and fluffy. But it is so damn comfortable that you'll find yourself getting excited to wear it. What's really wild is how warm it is, I wore this thing and a t-shirt the other day when it was 7 degrees out and I walked around outside for 5-10 minutes totally comfortable. And I'm no tough guy, I normally wear a pretty big puffy in that kind of weather. Crazy warm. Downside is it will definitely overheat on you if it's warm out or you're being overly active.

I also really appreciate that there's the big kangaroo pocket, but then a zippered pocket under the flat as well which can hold your stuff and keep the kangaroo pocket free for hand warming.

The fit on this was actually smaller than I thought. I got a Large cause that's what I wear for North Face usually, but exchanged it for an XL. The Large fit me ok, but was just a tad snug all around and a bit short. The XL is slightly over-sized, but for this style of fleece I'd much rather have it that way. The bottom hem is way too big, but you can cinch it up and you're good to go which I think was the intention. I'm 6' 195lbs, 42r jacket. Marking it true to size though, because I think a slightly thinner 6' person would probably still want a large.

All in all, so happy I got this thing. So far just used it as a winter around town fleece. but come summer time it will definitely be my go-to for camping trips whenever weight isn't an issue.

Infinity Hug

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: L

Ohhhh the Campshire - Never before had I experienced a true, infinite hug from my hoody sweater. In fact, I haven't taken it off since I've gotten it! It's warm enough for down to about 10 degrees outside with just a T shirt underneath, and it's thin and agile enough to be the perfect casual midlayer. My favorite part is the hood, it has a slim fit feel and aligns nicely with the natural shape of your neck, making it feel like a taylored fit. Fits a tall skinny guy like me great! 6 ft tall and 140 lbs

The coziest

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

Absolutely love this thing. It may be the most comfortable pullover ever imagined. I primarily use it when car camping or lazily watching TV, but I've taken it sailing and climbing a few times as well. Its all the warmth you need in the fall, and is a good mid layer in the winter.

Short torso

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Lg

The torso is quite short. Notice in the product photos it's shorter than a t shirt in some images with models. I bought the the campshire full-zip fleece (essentially the hoodless version) at the same time to compare and it fits way better.

Cannot recommend enough

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Medium

If you enjoy things like warm blankets, cozy hugs, and being swallowed by a soft, pillowy cloud of warmth, this hoodie just about does the trick. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and have managed to tear it off myself only to give it a washing and then put it right back on. It's irresistibly comfortable, extremely warm, and looks good too.

I've worn it down to around 25 degrees while camping and have been quite comfortable in a base layer, long sleeve, and this hoodie over everything. It's surprisingly warm, the only con I can think of is that it's so thick that it can be hard to layer a shell or puffy over on top. I also really appreciated the large kangaroo pouch in the front and the inclusion of zipper and velcro on the closure. Elbow pads on the arms also helped with wear and looked really good too. The hood felt pretty snug so wouldn't work over a helmet.

A note on sizing: I am usually a size small for North Face jackets but went with the medium to get a more relaxed, cozy fit and could have even gone with the large. A small would layer a bit better for me but in my opinion, the best part of putting this hoodie on is feeling like you're being wrapped up in your favorite blanket so I preferred sizing up.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Measure the hip circumference at the fullest part of the seat, keeping the tape horizontal around the body.
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Sleeve Length:
Measure the distance from the prominent bone at center back neck, across the shoulder, over the bent elbow to the center of the wrist bone.
