Who brought the marshmallows?

As essential to your camping experience as your campfire, the Men’s Campshire Fleece Pullover is not to be left at home. The North Face designed it with 300-weight Sherpa fleece, which is warm and soft against your skin. Slip it on as the sun disappears and the shadows stretch across your campsite, and become the envy of the rest of your group as they start to shiver while the fire struggles to stay lit. Zippered hand pockets secure your matches, and keep your hands warm when the brisk air starts to bite into them.

  • Fleece pullover for evenings at camp
  • Heavyweight Sherpa fleece is warm and soft

Very purpley

  • Fit: Runs large

the collar is bright purple. Kind of an odd color combo and runs large.

Got a Small for my wife for Christmas

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

She loves the navy/purple color combo and the soooooft fleece! She's in Vermont for a family reunion and went for a walk yesterday in 7 degree, snowy weather and called me to say it's WARM!
If you're a woman and Backcountry still has this in Small or Medium, don't pass up the opportunity!
Be prepared for lots of compliments!

Perfect

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Large

Fleece is butter soft. Sizing is a little on the bigger size but overall fit feels fine. and it is WARM. I can see this becoming my winter staple for Chicago winters and as the perfect layer for skiing.

Friggin' Logo

I love this sweater. I'd buy this if it wasn't for The North Face's horrible logo. It ruins the entire sweater. What a shame.

    So warm and cozy!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Size Bought: Xxl

A little more purple than blue but just perfect!

    Super Soft and Warm Pullover

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Medium

To start with, ANYTHING Campshire is good and worth a look. I have several of the vests and got my husband this because I love my vests so much. All Campshire is incredibly warm and soft. This one is no exception. It is thick and really warm and surprisingly wind-resistant. This one is true to size, but a little snug, so if you want to layer or are in between sizes, size up. My husband likes to duck hunt and was in the USMC, so I got him the old school camo pattern and he loves it! He is 5'9", with broad shoulders, 33" waist, and usually wears mediums in pullovers.

    Bulky

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L

Its warm for sure, but definitely not for layering. Even just under the winter coat, its too much. Also, for a pull over, its not easy to pull over, almost like trying to pull over a button up shirt, its not big enough in the right areas to be easily pull over your head.

    Men's Northface Campshire pullover

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

The first Campshire I rec'd from Backcountry was mismarked so I rec'd the wrong size. Tag on the inside was different than the 2 outside tags. Person I chatted with was helpful although I have since found out I was sent the wrong shipping label/RMA #. This added some confusion when I contacted company to check on status of reimbursement of return. I rec'd the one I ordered as a replacement in a timely fashion however, I am disappointed in the condition of the product. The plastic wrap it came in was ripped wide open and the pullover almost seems like it was worn/used? I have never had any trouble ordering from Backcountry in the past but this will make me a little hesitant to order in the future. My rating might not adequately reflect the actual product as my issues may be more with how it was shipped and the condition of the item

As someone who had to do several back-and-forth to get climbing shoes that fit right, I think Backcountry is my favorite E-tailer. You will get a faster refund/credit if you use your own USPS Priority Mail resources than their UPS Ground return method which seems to take forever.
