Hits me right in the achilles
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
Love the look of these boots! Was looking for something with a little traction for this Park City slush! Unfortunately, these boots arrived, I put them on and immediately knew they weren't going to work. They are pretty stiff and they hit me in the back of the ankle right at my achilles and in the front of my ankle and didn't give, so it make for a pretty uncomfortable walk around the house. I think this could just be my ankles though because I tend to have this issue a lot. The tread is really nice and I think would provide a lot of good traction in the winter. Super bummed to return this but I just couldn't deal with the chafing.
Perfect for Fall
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
These are so cute! They take some time to break in as they aren't comfortable from the get go. I had a hard time getting these on/off when I first purchased them but they break in nicely. I'd love to see these get a pull tab in the back because the opening for your foot is a bit narrow. I just rediscovered these last week since the temps are getting a little too cold for chaco weather now. I can't stop wearing them now! They aren't insulated at all so they're great for fall temps. If you plan on rocking them through winter with a thicker sock I would suggest sizing up. I usually wear thin smartwool socks with these and they're snug but not uncomfortable in my regular shoe size.
