  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Men's 9

I'M A SIZE 9 and needed a 10. these are not true to size. moreover, the foot straps are very, very tight and I have a "normal" sized foot. additionally, they are located far from the front of the flop, so one's foot is positioned way on the back, almost overhanging. This was an example of try before you buy--well, I didn't and sent them back for poor sizing and overall uncomfortable feel. Don't recommend. save your money, try on a pair, and feel good about your purchase.

This comment doesn't help at all. Backcountry has a great return policy and your definition of "normal sized foot" is made up.

I understand what you’re saying, I am a women but I bought a pair of the old style in a men’s and they have been fantastic, but I ordered a women’s pair in a 9 and they had a really weird fit as your describing. I too, have a normal foot. It’s not thick or narrow, or too wide. Buying flip flops isn’t usually an issue but I can’t wear the women’s pair without my feet hurting and being squeezed by the straps. I was going to order these in an 8, but from the sounds of it, they aren’t great. Thanks for saving me the trouble.
