Above average hiking boot
I like the room in the shoe. Style is not quite what I like on this pair, wanted something a little more rugged, this appears like a "moon boot" from years ago, too synthetic looking. Otherwise it's a quality boot.

I would not buy again
Little arch support. Could feel everything on my INSIDE floors. Returned after wearing around the house for less than 30 min. Pretty disappointed in the quality. Not what I expect from Teva.

My favorite shoe!
I love these shoes. I bought them in tan a few years ago, and they've been my all-weather shoes. They are great for hiking in Death Valley NP in 100 degree weather or snowshoeing in Utah!

I would not buy this product again.
Teva is a great brand. Unfortunately I was very disappointed in the sneaker boot. Most specifically it lacks any foot, arch, and ankle support whatsoever.

Practical, long-term comfort for the feet
I don't know how 'true to size' these shoes are but they are consistent with other Teva products of the same size. These shoes don't boast about the toe room, so I will. Lots of room in the toebox. The fact that they are warterproof is what sold me solid. They are quilted on the top. No hard leather to break in. The soles are soft and very quiet on surfaces that harder soles would quickly betray you on. That is, if you were trying to be sneaky. My wife saw them and immediately wanted a pair for herself. She ordered her 'size' and when her Ember Commutes arrived they fit perfectly.

Used to be better...
This was my second time purchasing a pair of these shoes... the first pair I purchased in 2021 was great and has held up really well. They were also just as waterproof but feel more breathable. This newest pair is already falling apart after a couple of weeks of wear - the toecaps are coming unglued from the front of the shoe. Disappointed, as the first pair are such great shoes.

Great Boot!
I was a loyal Teva customer for over 15 years. At some point in the mid - 2010's it seemed like they were lacking in men's boots and sandals. I had to make the switch to Merrell and Keen, but I was never satisfied with the look and comfort of those brands. I recently noticed some newer styles from Teva, and I immediately scooped up the Ember Commute. I'm 100% satisfied with every aspect. Look forward to purchasing many more Teva products.
