Style and comfort!
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I purchased and wore these for a 10 day trip to the UK in both wet/cool and warm weather. Fit: I found the toe box to be a bit narrow. I don't have to buy wide width shoes but like a roomy toe box, especially if I want to wear for long periods or with a thicker sock. I initially purchased a 9.5 and sized up to a 10 and was very glad I did so. Materials: the leather is well made, doesn't scuff easily, and was soft enough to wear out of the box without any blisters. It did a good job keeping my feet dry in a drizzle/the average puddle during city walking. Support: I found it a little bit hard to get the laces at the top of the ankle as snug as I would have liked but it was pretty good. The standard insole is perfectly fine but I prefer strong arch support and swapped it out for my preferred brand. When out for a light hike, occasionally found a few rocks that that I could feel through the sole but I expected that - this isn't a hiking boot. If you're looking for strong protection, this might not be what you're looking for. Style: love the look of these shoes! they are versatile enough to go from trail to city bar and I really like the pecan/red lace combo.
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
"These are my third pair of Teva boots. They are truly one of the most diverse boots that blends lifestyle and function. The wine color is dark and not obnoxiously bright so you can match them with almost any outfit."
