Ten.2 120 HV Ski Boot

Some of us are born with big heads, some with huge ears, and others with giant, yeti-sized feet that just don't fit into ski boots. If you fall into the latter category, Tecnica feels your pain and has a boot just for you, my Sasquatch-pawed friend: the 106mm-lasted Ten.2 120 H.V.L., designed for those who are tired of suffering the pain of boot-inflicted foot-binding. The H.V. (High Volume) last, which checks in at a burly 120 flex, is a full 6mm wider than Tecnica's standard men's last, which may not sound like a lot, but it's a big difference when you consider that the variation between its top-end race and standard all-mountain lasts is only 2mm. Quick Instep, a soft plastic panel molded to the instep of boot, allows the tongue to open fully when pulling the H.V.L on and off, eliminating the hellacious struggle that can leave you exhausted and wanting to go home first thing in the morning, and a pull strap on the tongue gives you all the leverage you need to make entry and exit a breeze.
 
The upper buckles on the H.V.L feature three-position adjustment, offering 44mm of fit customization that will conform to any leg shape and work in cooperation with the adjustable dual-rivet cuff alignment, allowing you to fine-tune the fit to suit your preferred stance. There's an adjustable rear spoiler, too, that can help you stay forward or ride more upright, and can even be entirely removed to make room for extra-wide calves. If all this doesn't sound comfortable enough, Tecnica also included a UF HV heat-moldable liner for increased customization, an anatomic footbed for cushioned support, and a bi-material sole that helps you stay upright on icy ground and slippery staircases.
