Light touch.

While some may be turned off by the Syncros Composite 9 Multi Tool's nylon/fiberglass body, we actually see it as an improvement compared to an all-steel multi-tool. For starters, it's lighter, so it won't add as many grams to a jersey pocket or saddle bag. It's also less likely to damage phones while rattling around in a pocket, and the light texturing makes for improved grip in roadside maintenance situations. Finally, though the composite body is admittedly weaker than steel, it's still strong enough to provide all the torque you could possibly need to address mid-ride mechanicals. A paltry 7Nm is enough to crush most carbon components, and if you have a mechanical like a bottom bracket issue that needs four or five times that amount of force, you're likely using your (un-battered) cell phone to call for help, instead.

I love this tool. It has everything you need for a day of riding. Pretty light and compact, it fits perfectly in my pack and has definitely saved me on some rides.

Great, light multi tool

I really like the texture of the composite body it adds a little bit of grip which helps with these small multi tools. I haven't had any issues with the strength of the body so far. I have a couple of all metal multi tools but the texture and shape of the body on this one has me using this tool over the others.

i bought a few

i loose tools from time to time, with the price of this guy it was a no brainer to buy a few and just leave one in my car as well as an extra in the tool box. well built tool for the price

Great tool for the price!

This little tool has everything you need for 90% of situations. Definitely not a do it all tool, there is not a chainbreaker nor tyre levers. But the versatility, light weight, and size has found this tool a place in my EDC as well as in every seat bag on my bikes. Highly recommended for just about any usage.

Great multi-tool!

This multi-tool from Syncros is the perfect size to throw in your pack and forget it's even there until you need it on the trail. I picked up 2 of these multi-tools so I could leave one in each of my different packs

Great gift to snowboard/cycle friend.

Nice tiny tool for the price.

Great gift to snowboard/cycle friend.

Why are you still reading? Buy this :D

A well-constructed, compact tool with most of the bits you'll need for minor tweaks. I bought two, one for the trunk of my car and one for my desk-drawer at work. The only thing to be aware of is that the shafts on the bits are on the short side -- while this gives you a bit more leverage when used in the right angle configuration, if you needed to get "deep" into a faster you might have difficulty.

    All you need.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love this handy little tool, I keep one in my truck and one in my bike back and find my self using it all the time.

      Great little tool

This is a great tool to have stored in your biking backpack or in your car or anywhere you might need it. It is small enough where you can fit it almost everywhere and versatile enough to be used for most of the issues you have with your bike. Check this one out if you are in need of a new bike tool.

Can't beat it for the price

High quality tool at a great price, bought a few just to have around. Includes lightweight case which is a great perk.

Great little multi tool for the trail. Gave some to cycling friends as gifts. Every recipient likes the compact size and light weight (compared to what they were using previously). Would love to see this item w a 2.5 mm hex.

      Great little tool

Small and lightweight. Fits easily in a saddle pack or in your pocket. Great for the price.

      Handy little fella.

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This is a great little multi tool to keep in you snow/ski kit, in your car, or really anywhere. It's not the most capable multi-tool in the world by any means, but it's nice to have around! And the price can't be beat!

      Simple

This has just about everything you could possibly need in a multi tool and it’s small and inexpensive! Essential buy for any serious biker!

        Simple, Awesome Multitool

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This basic version gets most trail needs taken care of. It's a bit heavier than other options, but for the price, it's tough to beat.

        Good Light Tool

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Nice and small, comes with a stretchy pouch so it doesn't ding up other stuff in your pack, and pretty light. Has the basic stuff you'll need most of the time, and it's a good deal. If you just want something small to have on the trail to get most jobs done, this is a great buy.

        Awesome tool.

I bought like 5 of these. I keep one in the toolbox, one in my bike bag, one in my snowboard bag, one in my truck... you get the idea. Comes in handy, has handled every job I've needed it for, and is small. Comes with a carrying case too!
