Love this helmet, have been using this as my daily protection for days on the resort at Snowbird. Really found the earflaps to be super comfortable even while using audio chips in the compatible earflaps. When the bluebird days get a bit hot the switcher has excellent ventilation that allows adjustability for whatever temperatures you will be riding in!

This helmet is amazing. I have not crashed in it yet but it is definitely well made and you have the added protection of mips. The magnet buckle on the chinstrap works flawlessly and i have never experienced it coming undone. The biggest selling point of this helmet for me is the ear cutouts. most helmet ear flaps press right against your ears. That drives me nuts and my ears always end up hurting by the end of the day. With this helmet the cutouts prevent this from happening and i can have a full day of riding pain free.

Very nice helmet, good look and comfort. Protection felt solid, feels like you could pilot a helicopter in this thing. But I returned it because it's too heavy. Not a big deal if you're only riding lifts, but I like to bring my helmet backcountry touring and didn't want to lug this thing uphill. The ear vents also aren't removable, so it wouldn't work great for warm spring skiing / tours.

This helmet is about perfect. The fit works really well with my large oval dome. I have a 61cm head and the L/XL fits well with adjustment to go bigger. I really like the dial head adjustment and the separate dial to adjust the vents. Low profile and weight for a fully featured MIPS helmet.

Of all the helmets I have tried over the years, this is by far my favorite! I cannot say enough about how well this helmet fits and how comfortable it is! There are plenty of vents so that you can regulate your temperature really easily. The strap that secures your goggles on the back is super easy and well thought out. The magnetic chin strap is awesome and works 1000 times better than any other chin strap. Not to mention this helmet is MIPS and offers great protection at a light weight!!

This helmet fit really well and the adjustment system was simple to use. It looks nice, has well thought out venting, and the magnetic chin strap was so cool and worked so much better than the traditional buckle. Best helmet I've used!

Loved the Sweet Protection helmet, minus a few things. If you don't get familiar with the strap it is hard to manage with gloves on and out on the mountain. Also with the vents open, I thought it was a little noisy. Comfort wise it was Rad! All around was a great fit, felt comfortable, and felt confident riding knowing I was protected.

My husband used this helmet and loved it. It kept him plenty warm even without a beanie underneath. I love that it has MIPS protection, and he said it ventilated well. The magnetic buckle clasp is a great feature! Makes it super easy to take off, even when you're gloves are on.

This helmet was awesome, it is not bulky at all, it has a magnetic strap attachment and makes easy to put on and take off. Its light in design and had a lot of cool features, making this one an awesome option.

I borrowed this helmet for my fiance to try out. He said the helmet is sturdy and well ventilated. Based on the reputation of this helmet and the MIPS technology, I was happy that he was wearing it! He said that the size adjustment put abrupt pressure on the back of his head, but I think the L/XL was too big for him and this issue could have been resolved with a size down.

I got this for my brother on a ski day a few weeks ago. He mentioned that he really liked how well the helmet ventilated and how unobtrusive it felt while he was wearing it. Luckily we didn't have to test out it's true potential, but knowing Sweet Protection, as well as MIPS, it would have done it's job mitigating the impact.

Only had the helmet long enough to try it on. Guess I should have measured my head before ordering but assumed the L/XL would be big enough to fit. It was not.
While I returned the helmet, there's no question why it's won so many awards.

I picked up the Sweet Protection Switcher MIPS Helmet and the thing is awesome. I was able to test in reasonably cold weather (20-30), through a little snow fall, and through some heavy snow making.

The word 'Fresh' came to mind on my 1st run. Not sure exactly why, but that's what entered my head. Maybe because it felt so light and airy. You barely feel it on your head. Having a helmet, that doesn't feel like you're wearing a helmet, is so cool.
The other great thing is the 'OneTurn' ventilation dial. You turn a knob on the back of the helmet and all 20 vents completely open or closed. And there are 2 additional vents on the front, but those are more manual. I experimented going downhill, through the snow making, while fully open, and I got brain freeze. Then I closed them and did the same run. The difference was night and day. And I never had to remove the helmet to make the change.

The magnetic clip is a nice touch. Easy on and off and you never pinch your neck like I've done with those bike helmet style clips. And its Audio Ready, not like that wouldn't have thought of that.

Last year I bought a Smith Vantage with those nice Woolrich ear protectors. While I love this helmet for the coziness, you feel the constraint. The invisible feel of the Sweet Protection brings you back to when there were no ski helmets. Comparing the 2 the Sweet Protection is heavier, but it must be filled with helium as it feels so light on the head.

My only complaint, and I had to dig deep for this one, is: it feels like it rides a little high on the forehead. Comparing this to the Smith, it's not very apparent, but the Smith has a larger bill, so you can cancel out this exposure by tilting your head down. This exposure can be cancelled out by a balaclava, or by putting a larger bill on the front.

Bottom line the Switcher is a very thought out helmet. I see nothing in the marketing literature about the light and airiness. It's hard to describe. What a great achievement!

This helmet fires on all cylinders with its top-of-the-line engineering, high quality materials, and endless list of useful features. Every detail from its intricate safety design, and lightweight comfort, to its carefully placed features that function with ease and intuition.

After a few months of using this helmet multiple days a week I’ve experienced nothing but the best helmet I’ve ever put hands on. Every other helmet I’ve used has had at least one thing that fails or bothers me, if not more. Each possible problem that I’ve come into in the past with other brands has been either fixed through its design or stood up to tough use from its high quality parts.

Years of experience and research with other brands has always left a poor taste in my mouth with small parts breaking or failing, or poor engineering leading to frustrating issues that never seem to be resolved. Thanks to the genius minds at Sweet Protection, I have finally come across the last helmet i'll need for anything from resort riding to intensive backcountry tours.

I have been looking for a new helmet with MIPS for awhile and this Sweet Protection meets or exceeds all of my needs and is by far the best one that I have tried. The fit is perfect and can be dialed in through both the boa-like dial in the back and the extra fit pads included with the helmet. I have always liked the quality of Sweet Protection lids but some of the other models felt too heavy for me and would not have been comfortable for a full day use or hiking out. For me, the Switcher is the perfect combination of protection, comfort and style. I also love the vents that can be opened and closed by a separate dial on the back of the helmet. I am currently using Anon M2 goggles and they are seamless, perfect fit. I have only used for a short period of time but really like this product.

This is a rad helmet. I may just be reiterating what others have said but its worth talking about. Super warm helmet, haven't had been chilly at all on cold days. The ear flaps are nice and roomy and don't hurt after a full day of wearing. I love the magnetic clip design on the strap! Ingenious. Makes it easy to take on and off. This is a small detail when it comes to helmets but the design and style of this helmet is very sleek and feels great on. Sweet helmet!

I decided to try this helmet out to replace my Smith Vantage that is a few years old. I really needed something that would last a few years of frequent use and be there when i really need to protect myself. This helmet fits my medium sized head perfectly. The vents are easy to adjust and the helmet feels lighter then my older helmet. The biggest features that i loved so much about this upgrade is the ear protection and the chin strap. The ear muffs have a pocket that don't smash my ear's into my head, which caused a lot of pain in the old helmet after hours of wearing it. The Sweet helmet also has a magnetic chin strap which is really easy to connect even when wearing gloves, but doesn't disconnect while i'm riding. Its much more convenient than the old buckle system. I expect a lot of the tech in this helmet to become more common in other helmets in the future, but right now this is like an iPhone X, super easy to use, looks slick, and at the forefront of technology for products in this category.

I finally upgraded my helmet and went with the Switcher based off of a friends recommendation and I'm so happy with it. I've taken it out three times this year so far and its by far the most comfortable helmet I've rode in. Its lightweight and the padding is super comfortable. It also has a really easy-to-use dial for ventilation. Will recommend to everyone.
