When the weather is a little warm and wet on hill we pull on the Sweaty Betty Pro Light Ski Jacket. This thin jacket doesn't offer too much warmth, that's what layering is for. What it does offer is a waterproof and breathable shell that prevents wet snow from saturating the face fabric and getting our core wet.

Bright on a rainy day
For skiing, you need warm layers underneath, but this is a lovel 'about town' waterproof jacket. It's better without the belt.

Cute and functional
I bought this for my first ever ski trip (read: I fell over a lot wearing this). It didn’t tear or puncture, My base layers stayed dry, no issues at all. It looks cute, it’s really flattering, and it’s really bright so my friends could see me (as could everyone on the chairlift as I ate snow right below them). I’m a size 10/12 and got a medium.

Drenched after 10 minutes.
Lovely looking jacket - very stylish, but unfortunately it really isn’t fit for purpose. It isn’t water repellent let alone waterproof and I was drenched (and cold) 10 minutes after wearing it in a rain shower. The arms were the worst. Very disappointed - my first Sweaty fail sadly.
