I picked this up for a fly fishing trip, and it was too windy to wear. Opted for a beanie. That doesn’t mean I’m not putting some mileage on this hat! Sizing is a little off but I accounted for that based on other reviews and ended up with the correct fit. The walnut is a great brown. My wife says I should never take it off and my kids never want me to wear it ;) I’m good with that.

    Great for all activities!

Dad loves this hat! He likes to wear it when its snowing to keep the snow off his face but he also wears it hiking, snowshoeing and just hanging out. He usually wears about a size 7 3/4 size hat and a large fits his nogglin perfectly. He likes the wool felt material and says its really warm. Overall solid hat that makes my dad look like a real life Indiana Jones!

Meduim is a 3" range Nice Hat

Have received many compliments on the style and color. I am a Scout Master for a troop in Maryland. I use it primarily for camping trips. Hat keeps the sun out of eyes and rain off ears and back of collar.Sets me apart from others who wear similar hats. Would love some sort of finer adjustment on inside as hat tends to be at upper end of size range. I wear 21 7/8 and the medium range is 21-23.

    The size is not accurate

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large

Hat is somewhat flimsy and way to large even though , I order the size I wear on my other cowboy style hats .

I love this Montana hat but it doesn't come in my size. I take small. Any chance you have that size in that hat?
