Nice and warm but rough around the edges

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs large

For the price this is a super warm jacket that is great for the coldest of days. There are however a few things that make spending the extra money on a name brand worthwhile. The fit is definitely a bit odd. There is a lot of room under the jacket for layering, but it is far from an athletic fit. You would not want to wear this under a ski jacket as an insulating piece, it is a bit too bulky. The zippers are also rather problematic. They are nice and large so that you can grab them while wearing gloves, however, there is excessive fabic around the zippers that are constantly getting snagged. Overall I think for the price it is pretty decent, however, I would say spend a few extra dollars on a more well known brand.

Very wide and short

The jacket runs big. The jacket was much wider and a little shorter than my husband's other large jackets. We had to return.

Very good for what you pay for.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

No issues. It's warm for the WA winter. It cost ~$65. Of course it could be better, however, it has been perfect in the 20 deg winter with winds, cruising around campus and working outside. Good looking jacket. And the big thing, it was $65 for a pretty damn good jacket.

The jacket is ill-fitting and very, very thin. Everything is boxy, the sleeves included.
