Lightweight Short - Past Season - Women's

Love the fit, though they wrinkle ….

I have a hard time finding shorts/pants that fit my small waistline. These fit perfectly. After the first wash they wrinkle up like linen. While I disclaimer that, I would rather wear shorts that fit my body type.

Great shorts but size up

I am 5'6", 127 pounds and the size 6 in Graphite is almost perfect. The waistband hits at my natural waistline which is 29" but since it's a tad loose, they end up sitting slightly below that at 30". Either way, I have enough room to be comfortable sitting without them digging in anywhere. They fit perfectly on my hips which are 37". I was surprised that they are 2% spandex because I didn't find them to stretch out much. I think the tight weave helps them keep their shape. I also think the Graphite is more of a taupe than a gray.

Fantastic fabric, dry-wicking. Great for the trails and whatever... I'm 5'9", 126 lbs, I usually wear a sz 4, but read the reviews and tried one in a sz 6 and they're PERFECT.

Had a chance to try these on before purchasing them and knew I need to size up. Usually a 2 and borderline needing a 6 but the 4 fits perfect most days. Love how stretchy these are and how they move with me. Pockets are nice too!

Way too small

I ordered a size up based on my experience with the Active shorts and I was still about 2 inches from being able to fasten the button. For comparison, this brand fits opposite to how Patagonia shorts/pants fit me: loose waist and tight thighs vs small waist and loose thighs.

Seemed nice, really small

They seem like a nice pair of outdoor shorts, nice pockets nice length etc. However, the sizing runs really small on these. I got a medium (I also ordered a medium in Two other items of the same brand which fit perfectly), and could hardly get them over my hips.

These shorts looked good on, but they are cut a little small for their size. For me to button these shorts, they were pulled up to my natural waist (covering my belly button). When sitting, the ?hiked up? position made them a bit uncomfortable in the ?girly parts.? Also, I'm not a fan of spending money on ?returning? them. I?m not sure if I will take a chance and order something else, knowing I will have to pay to ship them back.

Sizing Issues - Runs Small

I was frustrated when choosing which size to buy because Stoic doesn't have a sizing guide with numbered sizes. I chose a 4 (I'm 5'2', 125, usually size 2 or 4/size 27 in pants). They were super small, I probably would need a 6 to button, and maybe an 8 for comfort. Returned and I'm not going to repurchase in a different size because I don't feel like dealing with the returns process again.
