High fives all around.

From greens and pizza slices to blues and fun-filled days in pint-sized aspen groves, the Stoic Boys' Handplant Printed Ski Jacket is there to keep your ripper cozy and warm. The windproof exterior fends off crispy gusts and errant elements, while the synthetic insulation maintains adaptive warmth in wet conditions, making the Handplant an ideal companion for climates like New England or the Pacific Northwest. The powder skirt helps seal out the snow that's bound to come creeping in when that pizza wedge goes slightly awry. However, should the sun come out to play, the removable hood allows you (or he) to customize his coverage.

  • Durable exterior fends off elements

Nice & Warm - Good for broad shoulders

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs large

This jacket has been great for my somewhat tall and lanky son so far but it fits a little bit odd in the shoulders. It actually looks like he's wearing shoulder pads. BUT, we're out for function not aesthetics so all good for us. Also runs a little large which is fine for us.

It's warm and seems tough!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

This coat has all the features that we needed and had a great price. So far my kid loves it and it is surviving the beating that my kid gives all his clothing. It seems like it runs a bit big but then again my boy is kinda on the scrawny side. I'm sure he'll get at least two good seasons out of it!

Great Ski Coat Value

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: Runs large

This ski coat feels substantial and warm, and has lots of good features like a powder skirt, wrist gaiters, and an elastic that will keep the hood from sliding off a helmet. We got a size 5 for our smallish 5-year-old, and as others have observed it is big enough that we expect him to get a couple of seasons out of it.

So far so good

I ordered this for my 6 year old nephew and picked up a size 7. It is big on him, but he won't out-grow it this winter.

Need a size chart

We ordered the wrong size because we just had to guess how this jacket fit. It would be very helpful if Stoic created a size chart for kid sizes. I couldn't find a sizing chart anywhere. It seems like a very warm jacket though. We are ordering again in the right size.
