Nice Jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: XL

Nice buy for the price. A little tight in the shoulders and short on the sleeves. If you are a burly guy size 42 or bigger go to XXL. Luckily this jacket is warm enough to wear a single layer under because anything more will restrict your mobility.

Feels great, looks good

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I love the style of this jacket. It's a bit loose fitting on me, but I like that. The sleeves fit well, and I like the elastic band on the lining of the sleeve. Stitching seems a little cheap, that's why I didn't give it 5 stars. I've had a few loose strings hanging out here and there. That could be just my jacket though. For me it seems warm enough for a T-shirt underneath in 20-30 degree weather for everyday use. I have yet to try it for extended periods of time, or out in the woods/mountains. I'm betting with a good layer or two underneath it could do well for early spring to late fall adventures.

Unanswered Question

Hi - is this jacket packable? I'm wondering how small it packs down to, and if it will lose its loft if I pack it down and put it in a stuff sac. Would you recommend this jacket for backpacking?

Unanswered Question

Does this jacket stow into a pocket? I back pack alot and want to know if it is designed to be compact able.

Good for fall/ not super cold winters

  • Fit: True to size
  • Size Bought: Small

Well made, very good price, but not warm enough for Minnesota/Michigan winters which is what I was looking for. If my son would wear more layers (or if my daughter didn't already have light down jacket this weight), I would have kept it.

Unanswered Question

Does this fit true to size, or should I order up a size as one reviewer suggests (runs small)? Thanks

great gift

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

he has one in a different color and wanted one in school color

Pretty thin on insulation

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: Runs small
  • Size Bought: Medium (Should've bought a Large)

The jacket is nice, but don't buy it if you need a really warm jacket. It may provide some warmth if it is layered under another jacket like a wind breaker or rain coat. I plan to return it and purchase a thicker winter jacket.

The 4.2oz claimed weight has got to be a typo, right? And what’s the fill power rating for the down? Thanks.
