Great for Car Camping

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I love this blanket, and have used it on every trip I've taken since I bought it. It's warm and doesn't hold moisture, and it basically fills our 3P tent from side to side so it's perfect as an extra layer (or even the only layer on cool nights). The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the seams are not as robust as some other blankets on the market. We blew out a seem just stuffing it back into its stuff sack, which was a bummer. It was even enough to patch on our own and didn't lose any poly fill, so I would absolutely recommend this (especially when it's on sale).

Great Blanket

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

We have used this blanket for camping, football games, and picnics. It is durable and easy to keep in the car. We love it so much we've given it to friends as presents, I would definitely recommend!

Perfect!

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Recently bought this and got to use it on a weekend of camping where temps dropped to mid-40s. We have decent sleeping bags but the tent is very basic and not suited for cold weather. The night was cold until throwing this over our bags. It’s large so it easily covered 2 of us. The extra warmth was immediately noticed. It’s light and packs down easy. Price was tough to beat, especially considering it was picked up on sale. My only complaint would be the material seems somewhat thin and I’m afraid could tear easily if caught or snagged. I wouldn’t use it as a picnic blanket, but for wrapping up around a fire, on the pool deck, or in the tent it is perfect!

Great blanket

This is a great all around blanket. Lightweight, warm, cushiony, machine washable. It’s kind of loud though and I wish it had a button or snap to wear it poncho style. Otherwise- perfect!

This was perfect for my camping trip to the mountains in the fall. It covered me and my wife while sitting in our camp chairs and kept us warm.

Didn't know I'd love a blanket this much

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I have this in the pearl blue / rose dawn combo. I didn't realize how much I would love and use it. It works for everything - as a picnic blanket in the park, an extra layer for camping, a blanket to keep in the car for whatever. I'm a sucker for anything that comes in pink so that was the main reason I bought it, but the quality is really nice and I feel like I'll have this for a while! Really happy with this one

Great Price for a Great Product

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is light, warm and comfortable. I use this instead of a sleeping bag. I also use it at home as my house can get cold. Here is a follow up from my original review: I use this blanket all the time. It is the perfect weight. It washes so well it still looks brand new.

It's actually warm

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

yes, its bulky and doesn't compete with the loftiness of down but it actually keeps me warm. too warm in fact. I used it recently as an extra layer with my 35 degree bag when temps down to 37 and I got hot. I would absolutely use this alone in the summer months. it can compress down more with a compression sack but its kind of a pain to do that. great for car camping!

Good blanket, poor quality control

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought this blanket back in July and finally used it on a trip this month. It's a nice size for one person and works well. It kept me warm sitting out at night in the desert. I do have concerns about the quality. When I pulled it out of the sack, there were tons of loose threads, some spanning multiple panels. There was also some of the fill or something hanging out one of the ends. The weirdest part is a prickly/ sharp ball in one of the corners. It feels like a mass of burnt plastic with feather quills. That part is very odd. I have no idea what might be in there. Overall, the blanket works well, but seems to be poorly constructed with little to no quality control.

Must have camping blanket!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This truly is a must have for your camping kit. This blanket is extremely warm yet light weight and easy to pack away. I bought the queen size which is perfect for my partner and I to share. The only complaint is that the material is rather slick and does slip around throughout the night but I'd still give it 5-stars and will be looking into getting the twin/single size to use around camp.
