Good quality hybrid shorts with your standard fit. Material is on the thinner side for hybrids but haven’t given me any grief. I wear a 32/33 depending on brand and got 34 which are slightly large as expected.
My gripe is there are no drawstrings to cinch down for swimming and no rubber strips to keep your personals personal... meaning wear a belt or compression shorts or don’t swim in cold water.

These are not very ‘tailored’ shorts, in fact I needed a belt because they don’t really contour at all, so if the waist isn’t perfect they can slip off. I bought both colors and they are exactly as pictured and very useful and attractive to wear with other things. The material is light and not plasticy at all. The zipper already blew out on one of the two pairs, and to be blunt, these are wet/dry condition shorts where one might want to wear them commando to swim, so I can’t see them working for that purpose.

How to Measure:
For best results, take measurements over your underwear.
Chest:
Measure under your arms, around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist:
Measure around your natural waistline, keeping the tape a bit loose.
Hip:
Measure around the fullest part of your body at the top of your legs.
Inseam:
Using pants that fit well, measure the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Sleeve:
Measure from the center of your back to your wrist with arms held out.
