For cold-weather paddling, nothing beats the waterproof efficiency of the Neptune Pants from Stohlquist. These pants feature Stohlquist's 4-Layer Twin Sensor membrane that consists of a DWR-treated nylon outer layer, a polyurethane coating, a waterproof breathable laminate, and a nylon tricot inner lining for comfort. Neoprene ankle gaskets seal things off for you on the bottom to keep water from getting inside. Padded knees and shins help protect delicate areas, while 500-denier Cordura reinforcements on the seat and knees offer abrasion-resistance and durability. When things get really gnarly, these pants can be mated to any drytop that features a spray skirt tunnel, creating an excellent barrier against any and all cold weather.
