The X-SYNC chainring is virtually identical to SRAM’s high-end offerings, with CNC-machined teeth that alternate between narrow and wide to keep your chain turning over and stop it from flying off into the ether. One thing to note is that the NX 1x is compatible only with SRAM’s GXP bottom brackets, so make sure that’s what you’re running before you decide to upgrade.
